ebm-papst in Portugal
The ebm-papst group, which has been operating in Portugal for more than two decades, created its Portuguese subsidiary, which is currently designated as ebm-papst (Portugal) Lda, in April 1996.
The current set-up in Lisbon was installed in May 1999 and consists of a desk, show-room and warehouse of around 800 m².
It is located in the industrial zone of Cabo Ruivo, next to ISEL and near:
- the airport
- the train station – Oriente
- the metro station – Chelas
- exits for motorways to the north (north-south axis) and south (Vasco da Gama bridge).
Since we started operations, we have maintained close cooperation with our customers in relevant areas of national industry such as refrigeration, heating and telecommunications, areas where there was a chance to implement our motor and ventilator solutions using EC technology, with results recognised by the market.
This technology enables our partners to find solutions where rationalisation of energy consumption together with optimisation of sound levels enable us to develop solutions with competitive benefits.
